About Me

I enjoy encouraging students to develop their own unique writing style, while at the same time teaching them how to grow in their literature analysis and writing skills. My passion for writing began at an early age and led me to pursue a career in teaching and professional writing. I have experience teaching in both public and private school settings. Soon after my first child was born, I knew I wanted to homeschool.

While homeschooling my children, I wrote for several local newspapers and magazines. Throughout our homeschooling journey, I've used a variety of curricula and have adapted them to the needs of my students, whether with my own children, or those in my co-op. My oldest has since graduated and is attending college. I'm currently homeschooling my two children.
